David Hare, Group Vice President of Support Services is responsible for PeopleSoft’s worldwide customer support services. A thought leader in service delivery excellence, Hare leads a world-class service delivery organization of more than 1200 people. Under his leadership, PeopleSoft’s Global Support Center operations in North America and Europe have achieved Support Center Practices (SCP) certification. In addition to Support Services, Hare manages the Customer Care Business Help Desk, Customer Loyalty, and Service Planning and Readiness organization. Hare is also the maintenance value advisor for the PeopleSoft International Customer Advisory Board (ICAB).A veteran in the high-technology services industry, Hare brings more than 30 years of service and support experience to PeopleSoft. Previously, Hare held executive management positions at Redback Networks, Aspect Communications, and Baan where he led the worldwide support organization. Hare began his career at DEC and has had increasing management responsibilities during his 16 years. Hare has a proven track record of success in building and designing world-class service delivery organizations. From service strategy to international and offshore operations, Hare has grown highly profitable service operations with leading industry customer satisfaction.
Hare serves on the board of directors of noHold and Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW). Hare also serves on the board of advisors of Service and Support Professionals Association (SSPA) and San Jose State University (SJSU). Hare is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including Service and Support Professionals Association, Help Desk Institute (HDI), Association for Services Management International (AFSMI), and DCI. |
