David is a partner at Jefferson Partners, an Attensity venture investor. David has served on the boards of numerous private and public companies and has been instrumental to the success of Jefferson portfolio companies including Quack.com (acquired by AOL), iStar (IPO, acquired by PSINET), Wescam (IPO, acquired by L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL)), Applied Terravision (acquired by CGI). In addition to Attensity, David currently serves on the board of directors of TrueContext Corp.; Avotus Corporation; BoarderWare Technologies Inc. and Natural Convergence Inc. Passionate about social change, David co-founded, and is Chair of eMagine, a national philanthropic initiative aims to raise $1 billion in commitments from the entrepreneurial and investment community over the next decade. David is a Director and Chair of the Membership Committee of the Canadian Venture Capital Association. He is a member of Young President's Organization (YPO) and the Ontario Task Force on Competitiveness, Prosperity and Innovation. |
