David Coolidge

David Coolidge is president of the Automotive Aftermarket Division of the Robert Bosch LLC and executive vice president - North America, of the global Automotive Aftermarket Division of the Bosch Group. He has also served as Chairman of Robert Bosch, Inc. Canada, since 2003.

The company’s North American aftermarket business

includes spark plugs, wiper blades, oxygen sensors, fuel pumps, oil, air, fuel and cabin filters, spark plug wire sets, starters, alternators, brake pads, and gasoline and diesel fuel injection components. These products are marketed, sold and distributed through the Independent Aftermarket and Original Equipment Service Channels.

Prior to his current position, Coolidge served the Automotive Aftermarket Division as vice president, aftermarket sales and supply chain management from 2004 to 2005, and as vice president, finance and administration from 2001 to 2004.

In 1988, Coolidge began his career with Bosch as a co-op/intern in corporate planning and controlling. He joined Bosch in 1989 as a financial analyst in the corporate planning and controlling department and was promoted to senior financial analyst in 1992. He was accounting supervisor

for the Automotive Aftermarket Division in 1993 and 1994. From 1994 to 1997, he served as director, plant controlling

at the Anderson, South Carolina plant of the North American Automotive Original Equipment Division. During 1997 and 1998, he worked in the corporate planning and controlling department of the Bosch Group in Stuttgart, Germany.

He returned to the States to be director, controlling for the Automotive Original Equipment Division from 1998 to 2000.

Coolidge earned a B.A. in Economics from DePauw

University (Greencastle, IN) in 1987. He also has a M.B.A.

with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a Master’s degree in Accounting from DePaul University (Chicago, IL).
