An award-winning real estate professional with more than 17 years’ experience working in industrial real estate in Canada Dave Carreiro joined First Industrial Realty Trust in 2007 to lead the company’s new Toronto office.
As Regional Director of First Industrial’s Toronto region Mr. Carreiro is responsible for delivering industrial real estate supply chain solutions to customers in this key Canadian market. During his career he has been consistently ranked among Toronto’s top industrial professionals.
Prior to joining First Industrial Mr. Carreiro served in a variety of roles over a 17-year period at Cushman & Wakefield LePage in Toronto. Most recently he was Vice President of the Toronto West Industrial division where he led one of the company’s top real estate teams and was responsible for sales leasing brokerage design build and landlord and tenant representation.
While at C&W Mr. Carreiro was honored with numerous awards including earning the company’s Award of Excellence; being named to C&W’s top 10 among all brokers in Canada in 2003; and being selected one of the company’s top 10 industrial brokers in Toronto every year since 1995.
He earned a business degree at the Richard Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.
