David Campos Biography :

David F. Campos is of counsel to Meyers Nave and a member of the Land Use Practice Group where he focuses on civil rights, desegregation, and public works contracts.Prior to joining Meyers Nave, David was General Counsel for San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). There, he was responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the district which includes approximately 155 schools, 57,000 students, 10,000 employees and an operating budget of $700 million dollars.Before becoming SFUSD General Counsel, David was the Deputy City Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco from 1999 to 2004. In that role, he advised the City and County of San Francisco on issues including civil rights and desegregation, contracts, and affirmative action. Campos also served as lead counsel in the City’s consumer protection lawsuits against several major utility companies in the aftermath of the California Energy Crisis of 2000 and 2001.David is licensed to practice in the State of California and the District of Columbia, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
