David’s experience in professional and technology services enables him to quickly comprehend client situations and recruit progressive, client-focused talent delivering profitable results. As the leader of the firm’s European Professional Services Practice, David has over 16 years search experience serving clients in the management consulting, technology services, system integration, audit, tax consulting, business services, legal, and HR services sub-sectors. He has successfully completed numerous international assignments, typically at Managing Partner/Partner levels across multiple industry sectors and horizontal competencies. Additionally, he has a wealth of experience recruiting general management positions (CEO/COO) as well as functional support roles, typically CFO, CIO, Marketing & HR related assignments. With an early career in finance, David is also leading the expansion of the CFO centre of expertise in the London office. Previously, David spent 11 years with Korn/Ferry International where he was Senior Client Partner in firm’s Global Technology & Professional Services Practice, with deep-seated experience in the converging professional/technology services world. He also was a member of the firm’s CFO Practice. During this period, he was also a member of the firm’s European Leadership Team. David entered the recruitment profession in 1989 with Robert Walters Associates where he spent five years building the firm’s presence in the finance and related tax & treasury markets. During this period, he conducted numerous finance searches for major FTSE 100 companies, U.S. and European multinationals, and financial services organizations. Before entering the recruitment industry, David spent 3 years with Andersen in their London tax department, providing tax consulting services to major UK, European and US multi-national companies. Based in London, David is a graduate of the University of Wales (Swansea). He is married with 3 energetic young boys. |
