Mr Boal spent seven years working in the Multiple Sclerosis Research Laboratory (Department of Neuropathology, Queens University of Belfast) where he also obtained his BTEC degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has over twenty years experience of the pharmaceutical industry which began with a series of positions of escalating importance in the sales and marketing arena within GD Searle & Co (now Pfizer). From this position Mr. Boal moved into international product management and then Business Development with Scotia, completing a substantial number of commercial deals, before joining PolyMASC (now Valentis Inc.) in a similar licensing role. David became Business Development Director for Amarin Neurosciences Ltd (formerly Laxdale) in April 2001.
