David joins RTI with 20 years of experience in the real-time software industry and an extensive background in product management and marketing. Most recently, he managed product marketing at Green Hills Software, a leading supplier of real-time operating systems. Prior to Green Hills, David was vice president of marketing for real-time middleware provider Highlander Engineering, where he played a key role in the company's Series A funding, growth into a market leadership position, and eventual acquisition by Borland Software Corporation. Barnett has also held senior product management and marketing positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation's Embedded Software Division and Wind River Systems. He began his career as software engineer and manager at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he was responsible for the implementation of several distributed real-time applications.David has BA in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. |
