David W. Griffin received a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University and his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Economics from Rutgers University. For the past 20 years, he has specialized in the application of statistical theory and methodology to questions of liability and damages arising in employment discrimination litigation. As a consequence, he has testified as a statistical expert in Federal and state courts throughout the country and has spoken to numerous legal groups on the topic of statistical evidence of discrimination.
Dr. Griffin has assisted several Fortune 500 corporations in developing internal self-audit programs as a proactive method for litigation risk assessment and for identification of potential problem areas. His current interest is the development of software tools for use by Human Resource personnel to conduct such investigations in a statistically sound and efficient manner. |
