David W. Jahns, prior to joining Galen Associates in 1993, Mr. Jahns was a financial analyst in Smith Barney’s Corporate Finance Division for two years. His responsibilities included financial analysis and preparation of proposals for clients on a variety of corporate finance and merger and acquisition-related transactions. He also assisted in the marketing of public offerings, performing due diligence and cash flow analyses. Mr. Jahns earned a BA in Political Science and Economics from Colgate University, where he graduated Phi Betta Kappa, and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business, where he specialized in Health Services Management. At Galen, Mr. Jahns has focused medical devices and technology enabled outsourcing companies. Mr. Jahns currently serves on the boards of DAOU Systems, Inc., Specialized Health Products International Inc., and several of Galen’s privately held portfolio companies including EduNeering, Inc., Chamberlin Edmonds & Associates and Integrated Diagnostic Centers |
