Mr. Jensen represents clients in general business counseling and provides third party opinions in lending and other business transactions. His business practice also includes commercial and consumer lending, and real estate transactions with extensive experience in banking and finance. Examples of Mr. Jensen’s experience and transactions include: General Business Counseling Representing physicians and physician groups in connection with their business organization and operation. Representing acquiring persons and acquired persons in connection with premerger notification to the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. Representing U. S. Bank in sale of real estate contract portfolio. Commercial Lending Representing a bank in numerous multimillion dollar asset-based commercial loans.Serving as Idaho counsel for a leading supplier of software-based compliance products and services to the financial services industry. Representing a public pension fund in numerous multimillion dollar real property term loans.Consumer Lending Representing residential mortgage lender in obtaining license under Idaho Residential Mortgage Practices Act.Representing lender in obtaining licenses to make regulated consumer loans under the Idaho Credit Code.Real Estate Representing motor freight terminal operator in exchange of existing terminal real property for real property upon which new terminal was built by other exchange party. As a member of the Idaho State Bar, Mr. Jensen is involved in the Business and Corporate Law and Real Property Sections and served as a member of the Ad Hoc Committee to review the Revised Uniform Partnership Act for adoption in Idaho. He is also a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Bar Association, the Robert Morris Association, and an alum of Leadership Boise. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jensen clerked for Richard W. Sabers of the Supreme Court of South Dakota. He received his undergraduate degree from Carleton College and his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1989, graduating cum laude. |
