A partner in the Litigation Department resident in Washington, DC, David S. Cohen has a broad litigation practice, with special emphasis on bankruptcy, securities, insurance, breach of contract, banking and tort litigation. He has also represented clients in matters involving class action defense, fraud, and employment. Mr. Cohen has tried significant cases for major institutional and individual clients of the Firm in federal and state courts and arbitrations throughout the United States. In addition, Mr. Cohen heads the Firm's Litigation Technology Committee as well as its Discovery Attorney program.
Mr. Cohen received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from The George Washington University, and his J.D. with distinction from Emory University School of Law, where he served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of The Bankruptcy Developments Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Cohen is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice in numerous federal courts. |
