David (Dave) R. Pannier is president of Residential Systems, which is part of American Standard's Air Conditioning Systems and Services division. The Residential Systems business is responsible for the design, manufacture and distribution of unitary (factory-assembled) central air conditioning systems for the home.
Dave joined Trane, American Standard's Air Conditioning Products Division, 25 years ago. He has worked in the applied products, unitary products and after-market (parts) businesses of Trane. He has held several senior management positions within the Unitary Products Group (UPG) including vice president, commercial marketing; vice president, marketing and product management; and vice president, residential marketing. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served for four years as vice president and business leader of Trane's North American Unitary Products Group.
Dave is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is actively involved with several industry organizations. He serves on the board of directors and executive committee of ARI (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute) and is vice chairman of the NATE (North American Technician Excellence) board of directors. |
