Mr. Arrajj is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Gaming Law Group. He has decades of experience in the full spectrum of gaming law and regulatory and administrative matters. Mr. Arrajj has represented most of our exclusive gaming clients in connection with licensing, regulatory investigations, compliance matters, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other gaming related issues. Before joining the firm, Mr. Arrajj was involved in the drafting of several pieces of gaming legislation in the Nevada legislative sessions of 1995,1997 and 1999, including amendments to provisions relating to the former Casino Entertainment Tax, foreign gaming reporting, the electronic transmission of wagering information and agreements by licensees with persons who have been found unsuitable. Mr. Arrajj was also one of the principal drafters of Nevada’s July 2000 regulations for gaming-related investments by institutional investors in non-public companies. Mr. Arrajj currently serves as gaming counsel to the Nevada Resort Association Regulations Committee. During his career, Mr. Arrajj has served as corporate counsel for Caesars Entertainment, Inc., and Hilton Gaming Corp. He also served as vice president and general counsel of Bally’s Las Vegas, a Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, Special Counsel for Licensing and director of the License Division of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. These experiences in both the regulatory and industry spheres give Mr. Arrajj a well-rounded perspective on the myriad gaming issues faced by today’s gaming resorts and manufacturers and distributors of gaming equipment and enable him better serve our gaming clients in a wide variety of commercial and government relations matters. |
