David Draft is First Industrial Realty Trust Inc.'s Executive Vice President of Operations, and is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day portfolio operations of the Company. Previously, he was Managing Director for the Company's central region, where he oversaw acquisitions, dispositions, developments, build-to-suits, asset management and lease negotiations for the Company’s Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Nashville and St. Louis markets. Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Draft was principal of Draft & Gantos Properties L.L.C., a Western Michigan industrial real estate firm he co-founded. During his career, Mr. Draft served as Chief Operating Officer of Western Michigan's two largest industrial development firms, First Real Estate, Inc. and Robert Grooters Development Company. He has over 27 years experience in real estate brokerage, sales, leasing and asset management. Mr. Draft is a licensed real estate broker and member of the National Association of Realtors and the Michigan Association of Realtors. He studied business administration at Calvin College. |
