David Manceor is senior vice president of ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) Supply.
He is responsible for all of the supply acquisition, real-time load forecasting, optimization and hedging execution associated with retail sales in the ERCOT market. He works closely with retail marketing and operations to achieve the financial and operating goals of the retail business. In addition, he is responsible for implementing new systems and processes to transition to the new ERCOT nodal wholesale market structure.
Manceor brings deep industry experience to the ERCOT role. His background includes physical and financial natural gas and oil acquisition, risk management, physical generation plant dispatch and negotiation of complex wholesale electric transactions. In his most recent position he was responsible for managing the company’s coal, oil and emissions requirements. Prior to joining Reliant in 1997, David held marketing positions at Amoco and Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation.
Manceor received a bachelor of arts in industrial marketing from Western Michigan University. |
