Experience: Dave has been practicing public accounting in the Washington, D.C. area since 1985. He joined Goodman & Company in 2004 as a result of a merger with Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi, where he practiced since graduation from college.Dave has extensive experience in providing accounting, auditing and tax services to a variety of small to medium sized organizations and their owners. His industry experience includes not-for-profit organizations, common interest reality associations, real-estate partnerships, employee benefit plans, religious organizations and a wide variety of commercial service organizations which range from kennels to truck stops with gaming activities. A significant portion of Dave’s practice focuses on the not-for-profit sector, providing auditing, accounting and tax services to trade associations, religious organizations and foundations. He is skilled in the specific reporting requirements for these organizations and with the issues unique to that sector. Dave understands the unique challenges of these organizations having served as treasurer, budget committee member, and board member for various not-for-profit organizations. Dave also has experience in providing individuals with various tax and compliance services which include individual income tax preparation and trust accounting.
