David Olson joined SRA in January 2004. He is currently focused on building out SRA's Investment Banking Group.
Prior to joining SRA, David worked for over seven years in the life sciences industry and was employed with Affymax as the Senior Director of Corporate Development, Titan Pharmaceuticals (AMEX:TTP) as the Director of Business Development, and Chiron Corporation (NasdaqNM:CHIR) as a Manager of Corporate Finance and Business Development.He was involved in negotiating and executing several multi-million dollar collaborations, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as public and private financing transactions.
Prior to working in life sciences David worked for a boutique investment bank in San Francisco, Plantagenet Holdings Limited, as Director of Investment Analysis. PHL raised capital for and invested in venture stage investments. At PHL he led the analysis, valuation, and deal structuring activities.
David is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society, CFA Institute/AIMR, and Security Analysts of San Francisco.
David received his BBA and MBA from the University of Michigan where he graduated with the honors of High Distinction.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for several high-technology and life science based private companies where he has managed or played an important role in numerous private placement financings. |
