David Rubin serves as general counsel to a number of large closely held companies with operations throughout the U.S. as well as Asia, Europe and South America. As an authority on corporate and transactional law, Mr. Rubin advises clients on myriad issues affecting their operations, growth, and succession, including significant corporate merger and acquisition transactions and complex tax planning. He has structured both the contractual and tax aspects of complex, multi-company arrangements for American companies, structured joint venture agreements among U.S. and foreign entities, negotiated plant/facility acquisitions, and designed asset restructurings for capital infusion and growth. A number of Mr. Rubin's clients are family owned and he also advises family members on inter-generational structures and wealth preservation. Mr. Rubin serves as trustee for a number of families and is a director of several privately owned companies. He serves as general counsel and a member of the board of directors of the Henry Crown and Company, Great Dane Limited Partnership, Bush Hog LLC, Woodard LLC, and Formax, Inc. Additionally, he is a member of the Firm's Management Committee and is the past Chair of the Corporate and Commercial Group. |
