David Rand joined Origen's predecessor company in June 1998 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Development. Mr. Rand is responsible for marketing, advertising, and product and strategic development activities. In this capacity, Mr. Rand guides Origen's market positioning, brand imaging, advertising and sales support, and helps formulate and launch new products for Origen.
Prior to joining Origen, Mr. Rand served as Vice President - New Business/Product Development for Associates First Capital Corporation. Mr. Rand also worked for GE Capital, where he held several positions within the manufactured home, recreational vehicle, and marine industries divisions. While at GE Capital, Mr. Rand was accepted in and completed their Management Development Program, an accelerated training program with emphasis on management.
Currently, Mr. Rand serves on Manufactured Housing Institute's Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Financial Services Division. He also is a board member of the Recreational Vehicle/Manufactured Housing Heritage Foundation. |
