David, a Lancaster, Ohio native, is a director. He has been a member of the firm since 1963. He is a corporate generalist, which encompasses numerous areas of business law, with significant concentrations in the areas of commercial and banking law, complex business litigation, bank litigation, and corporate bankruptcy and reorganization, and real estate matters.
David is a frequent presenter at seminars and meetings of legal and community groups regarding various business and personal law subjects.
David received his B.S. degree from Ohio State University and earned his L.L.B. degree from the Western Reserve University School of Law where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Law Review, having three articles published.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association where he has served on the Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law committee since 1976. He serves as chairman of the U.C.C., Sub Committee since 1996. He is also a member of the Stark County Bar Association where he co-chairs the Bar Applicant Committee and serves on the Disputed Fees, Mentor, and Bankruptcy Committees.
David was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce for 2002, where he also is the Chairman of the County/City Affairs Committee. He is the past president of Alpha Land Title Agency (formerly Stark County Title Company) and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Canton Brookside Country Club and Lake Cable Recreation Association.
David and his wife reside in Canton and regularly attend Church of the Savior Methodist Church. He is Vice Chairman of the Administrative Council, is Chairman of Board of Trustees, and past President of the Men’s Club.
