As General Counsel and Secretary, David is responsible for overseeing the legal activities and functions of mBlox, Inc. Prior to joining mBlox, David was the Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel for LightSurf Technologies, a private company that offered hosted services for the transmission and storage of multi-media messaging and digital content. He also has served as the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Oak Technology, Inc., a publicly traded semiconductor design company, and as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for InSilicon Corporation, a subsidiary of Phoenix Technologies, Ltd. David later helped to spin off from Phoenix and take the company public in 2000.David holds an engineering degree from Arizona State University and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where he specialized in intellectual property law.
