David J. Obermeier is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Personal Injury Defense Litigation, representing insurance companies and their policyholders, as well as trucking companies and their drivers. He also handles Bad Faith Litigation, FELA, and Food and Beverage Industry Defense Litigation. In addition, Mr. Obermeier does extensive work in Insurance Coverage Disputes involving Declaratory Judgment Litigation. Mr. Obermeier is a member of the Pennsylvania and West Virginia Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia state courts, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Obermeier served as an insurance claim adjuster for a major insurance company from 1976-1983. Mr. Obermeier graduated cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1975 with a B.A. in Psychology. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. |
