David Koch, Vice-President, Financial Operations, leads the operational finance teams for the CD&M and Generation business segments for TransAlta. Mr. Koch is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, planning and control related to the day to day business of TransAlta’s operations.
Prior to this role, Mr. Koch was Director, Financial Operations for the Generation business segment, where he was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and analysis of TransAlta’s portfolio of generating assets..
Mr. Koch joined TransAlta in 2003 as Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis for the Generation business segment. Prior to joining TransAlta, Mr. Koch was the Director of Finance for Telus Mobility, and held several senior finance roles with Agricore. Mr. Koch obtained his Certified Management Accountant designation in 1998 and is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta. |
