Experienced in the preparation and prosecution of mechanical related patent applications, trademark/service mark applications, copyrights, licensing and related intellectual property matters including intellectual property related litigation matters.
Experienced in all forms of corporate transactions, including entity formation and dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, contractual and environmental matters, and negotiations and structuring transactions.
Practices in the areas of Business, Intellectual Property and Environmental Law.
Admitted to the Patent Bar.
Member of the firm’s Environmental Law Initiative.
Member of the firm’s Technology Committee, Recruiting and Hiring Committee, and the Paralegal Committee.
Served as an Engineer with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) where he was responsible for the development of the District Four Annual Work Plan (with an annual construction budget of over $80 million), and developed a computer-based prioritization system to track deficient bridges and pavements in six counties.
Received the ODOT Director’s Silver Mug for Excellence in Government in 1997 and Outstanding Employee of the Year honors in 1994, 1996 and 1997.
Served as Research Case & Comment Editor with the Akron Law Review.
Recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers- Rising Stars, in the 2005 and 2006 Cincinnati Magazine, as voted by his peers.
