David H. Klipstein, founder and Member of the Board of Directors, has over 35 years of chemical industry experience in planning, technology development and commercialization. Most recently as Sr. VP for Technology and Marketing for Biosym Technologies, Dr. Klipstein brought in initial venture capital, used industry consortia to establish the company as the world leader in molecular modeling and helped sell the company to Corning for $100 Million. Recently he chaired the Vision 2020 Study of New Directions in Reaction Engineering for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the U.S. Department of Energy. He is a member of the U.S. Council of Chemical Research and of the Advisory Committee to the Princeton University Department of Chemical Engineering. He received a Doctorate in Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
