Mr. Smitham is a member of the firm’s securities litigation and regulatory practice group. He worked for several major banks as a convertible bond and derivatives trader before managing a securities business based in Japan. Mr. Smitham worked in both New York and London as a risk manager and compliance officer. He spent much of his business career in Japan and was Chief Operating Officer for the securities division of a German bank in Tokyo until 2000. |
