David Ehrenfest Steinglass joined American Capital in 1997, and has worked on 23 transactions, investing $650 million of capital. From 2000 until 2005, he was jointly responsible for the Bethesda-based investment team of twelve professionals, and served as a member of the American Capital investment committee. In January 2006, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, with project management responsibility for the launch of geographic- and sector-specific funds as well as execution responsibility for strategic acquisitions.
Mr. Ehrenfest Steinglass was directly responsible for investments in Soil Safe, TechBooks, Selig Sealing Products, Dynisco, Hopkins Enterprises, Technical Concepts, PaR Systems, DanChem Technologies, Weston Solutions, Texstars, Iowa Mold Tooling, Auxi Health and Unique Fabricating.Mr. Ehrenfest Steinglass serves as the chairman of Soil Safe, IMT, and PaR, and is on the executive committee of Weston Solutions.
