Dr. U'Prichard, has served as a Director since April 2004. Currently he serves as a venture partner with two private equity firms, Care Capital LLC (Princeton, NJ) and Red Abbey Venture Partners LP (Baltimore, MD), and President of Druid Consulting LLC, a consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. From September 1999 to April 2003 he served as CEO of 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. U’Prichard served as Chairman of Research and Development at SmithKline Beecham from July 1997 to March 1999. He served in senior R&D management positions at ICI/Zeneca from July 1986 to June 1997. Dr. U’Prichard has served as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Neurobiology at Northwestern University Medical School and has held academic appointments at The John Hopkins University, and the Universities of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He is an honorary professor at the University of Glasgow. Dr. U’Prichard serves as Chairman of the Board of Oxagen Limited (Oxford, UK) and is a Director of Guilford Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Baltimore, MD), Cyclacel Ltd. (Dundee, Scotland) and Atugen GmbH (Berlin, Germany). Dr. U’Prichard received his B.S. in Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Kansas.
