David is responsible for managing Grove Street Advisors almost $700 million in investment capital for venture-backed companies and private equity funds. Prior to that he started Mazza & Riley, Inc., a prominent executive search firm focused on venture capital funds and their portfolio companies. Among their successful start-ups were Staples, PetSmart, American Medical Response, Cascade Communications (Ascend), and Synoptics (Bay Networks).
