David B. Berger is Vice President, Legal Affairs for Biosite Incorporated. He joined the Company in 2003 and is responsible for the management of Biosite’s corporate legal affairs, domestically and internationally. Berger serves as an advisor on legal issues involving SEC compliance, investor relations, business development/collaboration and marketing activities. Additionally, he oversees legal matters handled by outside counsel and is responsible for the Company’s risk management. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Director, Legal Affairs.
Prior to joining Biosite, Berger worked at Cooley Godward LLP where he served as outside general counsel for a broad array of technology companies, counseled public reporting companies on their SEC reporting obligations and represented issuers and investment banks in public stock offerings. Prior to that he was a corporate attorney at Amylin Pharmaceuticals.
Berger received his juris doctorate degree from Stanford Law School. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. |
