Mr. Singer is a principal of Maverick Capital, Ltd., an investment adviser to private investment funds, since December 2004. Since February 2004, Mr. Singer has served as Chairman of the Board of Oscient Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a company formed through the merger of GeneSoft Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Genome Therapeutics Corp. Mr. Singer served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a director of GeneSoft since September 1998. Mr. Singer was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from 1993 to June 1995 and served as Vice Chairman of the Company from July 1995 to April 1996. Mr. Singer is a founder of Corcept Therapeutics Inc. in August 1998 and has served as a director of Corcept Therapeutics since August 1998. |
