Mr. Sharrock currently serves as a director of Indevus Pharmaceuticals Inc., Praecis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Cincinnati Bell Inc. He was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Marion Merrell Dow Inc. until his retirement in 1993. Mr. Sharrock joined MGI PHARMA's board of directors in May 2001.
