David Rounds possesses more than 15 years of experience in the information technology industry, B2B technology sales, network installation, system design, consulting and maintenance. Utilizing his technical expertise, he co-founded uptimeLV, Inc., an IT consulting firm, in 2001. As President, Rounds plans and executes the company's technical direction while evaluating the newest and most innovative technologies for their clients. Rounds has been instrumental in a number of service innovations for their clients from active remote systems monitoring to creating a "One Rate" business friendly solution to network support and maintenance Under His direction, uptimeLV has flourished into one of Nevada's foremost information technology consulting firms, experiencing over 200% growth during the last five years. Most recently honored by The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and Microsoft, uptimeLV was honored as the Innovative Business of the year for 2006 by the Chamber along with Best Practices of Competencies from Microsoft. The company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with competencies in security solutions, networking infrastructure and advanced infrastructure. Prior to establishing uptimeLV, Rounds served as a technical consultant in various capacities, including IT department director and network support supervisor for several companies. Rounds' lengthy and accomplished career in sales coupled with his keen aptitude for business technology continues to vault Uptime as an expert in Las Vegas technology. A Native of Las Vegas, Rounds attended the University of Nevada and completed multiple courses in Windows and Microsoft support at Southern Utah University. He holds multiple professional certifications in both Microsoft and Cisco Systems software and instructed courses in Microsoft MCSE for the Career Education Institute. Rounds is affiliated with multiple organizations that help shape the community, including the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN).
