Mr. Leslie joined the Board in July 2005 and is a member of the Governance Committee and the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee. He is a chartered accountant and the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ernst & Young LLP, retiring in 2004. He is a Director of Sobeys Inc. and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He has held many community leadership positions including Director, Sunnybrook & Women's College Hospital; Chair, Mississauga Hospital Foundation; Chair, United Way of Peel Region; Director and Treasurer, West End Creche; and Member, Steering Committee, Toronto City Summit Alliance. Mr. Leslie owns 3,230 Enbridge Shares and 1,028 Deferred Stock Units.
