David Brown is vice president and chief accounting officer at Plum Creek. He has held this position since February 2006. Brown began his career with Plum Creek in 1994, as director of planning and later that year became controller.
Brown began his career in 1978 working for PricewaterhouseCoopers as auditor and later served as tax accountant. In 1987, he joined Burlington Northern, Inc. as tax manager and from 1989 to 1994, served as tax director for Burlington Resources, Inc.
Brown earned several degrees from the University of Washington including a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, a master’s degree in professional accounting, and a master’s degree in business administration. He also received a Master of Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.
He serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Washington Accounting Development Fund and the YMCA Camping Services Board of Greater Seattle. |
