David A. Platt, CPA, JD is Managing Partner, a member of the firm's Executive Committee and a partner in the Assurance & Advisory Services Department. He received a Bachelor's degree from The Citadel and a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. Mr. Platt joins CCR from Tofias, PC, in Cambridge, MA. Prior to its merger with Tofias, he was a partner with Rooney, Plotkin & Willey in Rhode Island. He has more than 17 years of audit experience in addition to litigation support services including merger and acquisition services, bankruptcy and forensic services, and expert witness testimony. Mr. Platt also has extensive experience serving a multitude of industries including manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, marine and nonprofit entities. Mr. Platt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. He is a trustee for the Saint Philomena School and sits on the audit committee of various manufacturing companies. |
