Mr. McCoy joined Enerplus as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in December 2002. As a member of the executive team his primary focus is to provide the Fund with legal support in the areas of equity and debt financings acquisitions and divestitures day-to-day oil and gas operations dispute resolution and litigation matters corporate secretarial functions and adherence to securities law requirements associated with public issuer status in both Canada and the United States. Mr. McCoy has over nineteen years of practical experience working in the oil and gas sector for corporations such as EnCana Conoco Westcoast Energy Gulf and Home Oil both domestically and abroad.
Mr. McCoy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Commerce (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1987. |
