David Hoyt heads the Wholesale Banking Group which includes Asset Management; Commercial Banking; Eastdil Secured LLC; Insurance Services; International; Real Estate Group; Shareowner Services; Specialized Financial Services; Treasury Management; U.S. Corporate Banking; Wells Fargo Business Credit; Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Inc.; Wells Fargo Foothill; Wells Fargo Funds Management LLC; and Wholesale Services. He also has responsibility for Internet Services and Private Client Services.
Based in San Francisco the 25-year company veteran formerly managed the Capital Markets Group the workout related groups for the Wholesale Bank and was involved in various functions relating to the overall credit quality of the bank’s portfolio. He also was senior credit officer for the Real Estate Group manager of the bank’s credit training function and manager of the East Bay office of the Real Estate Group.
Before joining Wells Fargo in 1981 he was a loan officer for Union Bank now Union Bank of California.
He is a board member of the Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. He is also a board member of the California Academy of Sciences the Bay Area Council and the San Francisco Symphony.
He graduated from the University of California Berkeley where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. |
