Specifically for Brown Harris Stevens, Mr. Burris oversees the seven operating divisions of including Residential Sales, Residential Management, Residential Renting and Corporate Relocations, Appraisals, Commercial Leasing and Management, Insurance, and Construction Management. A 20-year veteran of commercial real estate development, leasing and management, Mr. Burris is recognized as one of the industry's foremost experts in value-enhancing asset management and deal structuring. Mr. Burris is also a principal and co-founder of Swig Burris Equities, LLC, an investment firm focusing on the acquisition and development of real estate in New York City and California. Swig Burris Equities, LLC has purchased over the past 20 months, or is in the process of developing in excess of $350 million properties, which include 48 Wall Street, a 34 story 320,000 square foot office building which has recently completed a major renovation; The Century, a new 51 story, 660,000 square foot residential tower containing 505 apartments in Downtown San Francisco; 770 Lexington Avenue, a 20 story 155,000 square foot commercial office building; and Gracie Manor, a 198 unit residential building located at 401 East 89th Street, among others.
