Dave brings almost 30 years of successful experience in fundraising and consulting expertise from public agencies, governments, and foundations. He served as both Grants and Development Officer and Government Affairs Officer for two successive Pittsburgh mayors. Dave was also Project Director for Operation Weed and Seed, a joint law enforcement and community investment initiative with the U.S. Department of Justice. He pioneered the development of homeland security training for civilian populations at the request of federal officials. A Johns Hopkins University graduate and University of Pittsburgh-trained social psychologist, Dave has extensive, practical experience in designing, implementing, and funding a wide array of programs. Dave was formerly the Director of Evaluation and Research for United Mental Health, and Chaired the PA Psychological Association's Governmental Affairs Committee. Dave also served as Manager of the Pittsburgh Partnership and President of the Employment and Training Council of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and was an official with statewide organizations. He has developed innovative training/employment programs locally and nationally. Dave is assisting a variety of non-profit clients with the direction of their fundraising for corporate, foundation and government relations.
