Mr. Cox brings over 20 years of consulting, project delivery and executive experience to Caneum. Mr. Cox has an extensive background in the insurance sector where he has been involved with design, delivery, management and sales activities for over 16 years.
Mr. Cox started in the insurance industry with Saskatchewan Government Insurance in 1986 and has held technical, management and executive positions in a variety of companies including EDS, SystemHouse, Ernst and Young and a host of smaller boutique organizations. His delivery experience within the insurance market includes six government organizations and four public sector companies. Application related focus includes Policy Processing, Claims Management, Bill Processing/Re-pricing, Preferred Provider Networks, Workflow/Imaging, Data Warehouse and Call Center applications.
In 1999 Mr. Cox was the Executive Director for SupplyAccess, a global internet procurement company. The hosted software application was the foundation for several fortune 100 companies handling IT procurement and direct access to inventory volumes.
Over the past 20 years Mr. Cox has been involved with and has established delivery methodologies which include traditional Waterfall, Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Agile/SCRUM methods. He has dealt with Mainframe, Client Server and J2EE architectures with team sizes ranging from 5 local resources to 100+ resources spread across multiple delivery sites including teams in India.
