Prior to joining ZiLOG, Mr. Billerbeck served 14 years in executive and management positions in the Intel Mobile Group's Flash Product Group. From 1999 to 2007 he was vice president and general manager of the Flash Product Group, managing a $2 billion business and directing the efforts of over 7,000 employees worldwide. In that position, he was responsible for developing and implementing Intel's Flash and Wireless strategic business plans.
He served as director of design engineering for the Flash Product Group from 1997 to 1999 and as the group's director of packaging and test technology from 1995 to 1997. From 1995 to 1997 he was the Flash Product Group's director of operations. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis.
