Danny Varner is the owner and president of Varner Brothers Construction Inc. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a concentration in Construction Management.
A founding Sound Bank Board Member, Mr. Varner is also a member of the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the Soundview Rotary. He is a member of First United Methodist Church, where he has served on several boards. Mr. Varner has served on the advisory board for Morehead Middle School and has been an active member of the Athletic Boosters Clubs for Havelock High School, West Carteret High School and Morehead City Middle School. He has also served as a volunteer coach for baseball, basketball, softball and soccer teams from elementary to high school levels.
Mr. Varner is married to Angela Carawan Varner. They have three children, James, Mary Ann and Ruth. |
