Daniel T. Ciporin became a member of Corel's board of directors in April 2007. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shopping.com from1999 until its acquisition by eBay in June 2005. Prior to this position, Mr. Ciporin was Senior Vice President of MasterCard International, responsible for global debit services. Prior to MasterCard International, Mr. Ciporin was a management consultant for Mars and Co. and Corporate Value Associates where he conducted strategy studies for Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Ciporin currently serves on the board of directors at publicly traded companies VistaPrint and Primedia, in addition to serving as a senior advisor and consultant to a variety of high growth private companies and boards. In March 2007, Mr. Ciporin joined Canaan Partners as a venture partner focused on technology trends and investment opportunities in the Internet and digital media sectors. He has an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Yale University School of Management.
