Daniel R. Denison, Director
Mr. Denison is a resident of Solana Beach, California. In his 25 year career with United California Bank, a unit of Western Bancorp in Los Angeles, later known as First Interstate Bancorp he rose through a series of positions in commercial lending, branch management, and credit administration. In late 1987, he transitioned from the bank to the holding company and was one of two divisional presidents of FIMSA, Inc., until the time of his resignation in September 1990.
Following his tenure with FIMSA Mr. Denison became the Chief Real Estate Loan Officer for Home Federal Bank, FSA, a $20 billion thrift institution, later as the Manager of Real Estate Loan Asset Management. In March 1995 Mr. Denison joined Sanwa Bank California as a Senior Credit Administrator, he retired from Sanwa in July 1999.
Mr. Denison has been active in a consulting role on a part time basis, primarily in the area of problem loan evaluation and administration, through his corporation, Realty Alchemy, Inc. Consulting clients have included Anchor Savings Bank (NY), Firstrust Bank (PA), Sanwa Bank California, Bank of Hawaii, and First National Bank (San Diego). Mr. Denison is a graduate of Yale University (B.A. Economics, Magna Cum Laude). |
