Daniel P. Myers a resident of San Jose California is a Director President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. Until June 2000 Dan was the Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Bank of Commerce in San Jose. At Heritage Bank of Commerce Dan was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for the daily management of this $400 million commercial bank. His areas of responsibilities included asset growth profitability lending interest margin management budgeting strategic planning sales and recruiting. Prior to accepting the position of Chief Operating Officer in July 1999 Dan was the Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at Heritage Bank of Commerce. Under his leadership the loan portfolio increased from $40 million to $325 million. He managed a staff of 38 lending officers and support personnel. He also authored for the de novo bank expansion plans for Heritage Bank East Bay and Heritage Bank South Valley.
Prior to joining Heritage Bank in 1996 Dan was the Senior Vice President and Member of the Executive Management Committee for The Pacific Bank N.A. following that bank's acquisition of Burlingame Bank & Trust. Dan managed the Peninsula Region of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties for The Pacific Bank. Prior to the takeover by The Pacific Bank Dan was the Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Burlingame Bank and Trust. At Burlingame Bank and Trust Dan managed 19 loan officers and support staff to turn around a troubled lending program. He was responsible for loan policy administration credit marketing and production training and special asset collection management. He chaired the Officers' Directors' and Special Asset Loan Committees. Burlingame's Preferred Lender SBA function was the most active in San Mateo County.
Prior to joining Burlingame Bank and Trust Dan spent more than eight years in progressively senior positions within the lending function of Cupertino National Bank. When he left Cupertino National Bank in March 1994 he was managing a $90 million loan portfolio and a ten loan officer staff in three offices. At Cupertino Dan was responsible for the Commercial and SBA Loan Groups. He was appointed to the Directors' and Officers' Loan Special Asset and Marketing Committees. Dan began his banking career in the lending area for Pacific Valley Bank of San Jose. He worked with proposed Director Campbell during much of the period from 1983 to 1996. |
