Mr. Casey was appointed to chair Caraustar’s board of directors in July 2007. He also chairs the Executive Committee. Mr. Casey was appointed to the company’s board in June 2003 and previously chaired the Audit Committee. Mr. Casey retired from Gaylord Container Corporation, a major integrated producer of brown paper packaging products. Mr. Casey served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer of Gaylord Container Corporation from 2000 until his retirement in 2002. From 1987 until 2000, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gaylord Container Corporation. From 1968 until 1985 Mr. Casey was employed by Northwest Industries, Inc. and, when he left the company, he was Vice President and Treasurer. From 1985 until 1987 Mr. Casey served as Executive Vice President, Laws of Lonestar Technologies. Mr. Casey also serves as a director of Amcol International. |
