Dan joined Lindquist & Vennum in 2007 after working at a Minneapolis law firm specializing in product liability litigation. His practice focuses on product liability, premises liability, employment and commercial litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Examples of Dan’s work and significant results include: Obtaining dismissal in a product liability action against a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in Texas state court Acting as lead associate in a product-liability-claim defense in California federal court that resulted in a favorable settlement for the defendant, a Fortune 100 technology and manufacturing company; the plaintiff had originally claimed $4 million in damages but settled for $10,000 Securing summary judgment in Minnesota state court for a bar and restaurant in a negligence action involving significant personal injuries Dan was selected as a 2007 & 2008 Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. While obtaining his law degree, Dan worked as a law clerk at firms in Portland, Maine, and Minneapolis. Before law school, he worked as a science teacher and then as a litigation paralegal.
