Mr. Nickel joined Laureate in January 2005 to lead the company’s worldwide human resource efforts, including optimizing global operations and attracting international executive talent at the highest levels. Prior to joining the company, from 1990 through 2004, Mr. Nickel was Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Motorola, Inc.’s $13 billion cellular phone unit and has worked extensively throughout Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He also held a number of senior human resource positions with publicly traded multinational companies, including ARMCO, Monsanto Company and Varian Associates. |
